Allison has been practicing pediatric physical therapy in the Issaquah area since 2000, and is Board Certified by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties as a Pediatric Clinical Specialist.  She received her Master’s in Physical Therapy from Pacific University in 1995, and after five years of clinical experience, continued her education and received her Doctor of Science degree in Pediatric Physical Therapy from Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions in 2003.

Allison has worked in a wide variety of pediatric settings including hospitals, NICU, schools, early intervention, home care, and private practice. She opened Waypoint Pediatric Therapies in 2011, driven by the desire to provide uniquely personal and attentive pediatric physical therapy services. Allison works tirelessly at thinking outside the box, finding new ways to bring the community into Waypoint and vice versa, hiring an exceptional team of therapists who are equally committed to this vision. Each therapist brings a unique perspective and talent creating a phenomenal “Team Waypoint”.

Allison has been very active in pediatric research since earning her doctorate in 2003.  She served as the Northwest Regional Coordinator for the Move and PLAY (Participation in Life Activities of Young children) and On Track research studies, two multi-site research studies that recruited over 700 children with cerebral palsy from across the United States and Canada. Research is a great way to ensure Waypoint and its therapists are providing the most up to date, evidence-based therapy for your child. Waypoint has current contracts with the University of Washington to provide the intervention for several of their infant studies.

Outside of Waypoint, Allison loves exploring all the PNW has to offer with her 2 boys, Quinn and Griffin and husband/Waypoint enabler, Dennis. They are avid RVers, exploring everything from Alaska to the Grand Canyon!
