Megan Whitney PT, DPT

Originally from Salt Lake City, Utah, Meg has also lived in Toronto, Canada and Mesa, Arizona. She first came to Seattle to compete on the gymnastics team at the University of Washington, where she earned both her undergraduate degree in psychology and her doctorate degree in Physical Therapy.

Meg has previously worked in Early Intervention and she absolutely loves being a pediatric physical therapist. She is passionate about providing family-centered care and constantly strives to meet the unique needs of each child and family she works with. Meg also loves to play, be silly, and have fun when working with kids.

Before starting PT school, Meg began coaching gymnastics at a local gym, which is where she discovered her passion for working with children. She has been coaching ever since and feels so fortunate to be able to stay connected and give back to the sport that she loves. Meg has coached at every level ranging from beginning to college level gymnastics and at every age from 18 months to 21 years. She currently coaches a competitive team and is a choreographer for floor routines.

When she is not in the clinic or coaching, Meg enjoys hiking, indoor rock climbing, biking, and exploring the beautiful state of Washington.
