Our very hard worker, Amber has been a Waypoint employee since February of 2022. She loves working with her peers, learning new tasks and skills, and her favorite job at Waypoint is shredding documents. After graduating from Ballard High School, Amber completed a three year community based program at Ingraham and also worked at Phinney Ridge Lutheran as a receptionist. At Waypoint, she has many tasks that she does to ensure everything is in working order at the office. Amber keeps the toys cleaned and sanitized; she ensures the laundry is folded nicely so that it is readily available for the next appointment; and she cleans the office to ensure everyone’s health and safety. She looks forward to work each day and is working on her goal of working shifts independently in the next few years.

Outside of her time at work, Amber enjoys participating in Young Life (fun fact: she has been involved in Young Life for 16 years!), going to Mariners games, camping and taking her dog for walks. She also enjoys watching the Great British Baking show and creating beautiful breakfast fruit cups for friends and family!
