Amy Westendorf MA, CCC-SLP

Amy was born and raised in Issaquah, Washington and received her Master’s degree in speech-language pathology from Western Washington University.  Amy has over 20 years of experience in pediatrics and has worked in a variety of settings including neonatal intensive care unit (NICU), inpatient and outpatient pediatrics, early intervention and private practice.  Amy is passionate about infant feeding and supporting the whole family.  She received her Trauma Informed Professional Certificate in 2021 and cares deeply about providing trauma informed developmental care to each family she serves.  Amy enjoys working collaboratively with professionals and families to facilitate successful feeding experiences both inside and outside of the NICU.  She is a member of the National Association of Neonatal Therapy and continues to work in the NICU in addition to her clinic time at Waypoint.  Amy loves learning and regularly participates in additional training opportunities in infant feeding to remain up to date on the latest developments in the field and ensure she is providing her families with the best care possible.

Amy has two sons who are very active in sports. She spends most of her free time traveling to watch baseball, basketball and flag football games. When not at sports, she enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and walking/hiking with her dog.
