Haley Dixon PT, DPT

Haley grew up in Spokane, Washington and chose to stay in the wonderful pacific northwest to attend the University of Washington, earning a Bachelor of Science in physiology and completing her athletic training internship with UW Athletics. She then completed her Doctorate in Physical Therapy at the University of Colorado, Anschutz medical campus in Denver.

Haley’s passion for pediatric physical therapy started when she was a child herself. She had the opportunity to informally shadow a family friend working as a school PT and couldn’t believe that spending the day helping children work towards and achieve their goals in fun and creative ways was a real job! From that moment on she knew she wanted to pursue a career in pediatric physical therapy. Throughout her education, Haley has gained pediatric clinical experience in acute care, NICU, home health, early intervention, aquatic therapy, and the outpatient setting with children of diverse backgrounds and diagnosis.

Her favorite part about being a pediatric PT is getting to be a part of a child's unique developmental journey, both by providing skilled interventions to promote increased independence and success in their daily lives, and by being their greatest cheerleader and advocate. Haley is passionate about creating fun and unique treatment sessions that integrate PT concepts into personal and family goals to maximize participation in community and family life.

In her spare time, Haley enjoys all things outdoors to include hiking, camping, skiing, and playing co-ed soccer with her husband. Haley is passionate about travelling and is happiest on a sunny day in the mountains with her family and friends.
