Janelle Gordon PT, DPT, C/NDT
Clinical Director

Janelle is a native Pacific Northwesterner who loves the rain (within reason). She completed her undergraduate studies at Seattle Pacific University and completed her Doctor of Physical Therapy education at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas.

Janelle received her Neuro-Developmental Treatment Certification (C/NDT) through the Neuro Developmental Treatment Association (NDTA) in 2017 and completed the NDTA Advanced Baby Course in 2019. Through the certification and advanced training in development, Janelle uses specialized treatment techniques to promote optimal movements and limit compensation patterns which can help to prevent further complications in children with neurological involvement. Additional training in the Kinesio Taping Method, orthotic selection and use, gait training, cognitive development, and manual joint mobilization also guide her clinical treatment.

Prior to joining Waypoint, Janelle has worked in a variety of settings including adult orthopedic care and acute pediatrics in addition to other outpatient pediatric clinics. In her time here she has strived to progress pediatric therapy through working as a clinical provider for research projects, coordinating the student program, and providing career development to the Waypoint team as our first Clinical Director. She enjoys being able to watch as students and other therapists become as fascinated with pediatric therapy as she is.

Outside the clinic, Janelle is always up for trying new restaurants and hiking trails and new travel destinations. Most of the time, however, you can find her out for a run or hike with her husband, being “crafty,” spending time with friends and family, and being an auntie.
