Sara Montgomery
Patient Care Representative
Sara was born in California but moved to Washington at an early age, and never left. She earned her 4-year degree from Central Washington University in Ellensburg, Washington, where she majored in Information Technology and Administrative Management. After college, Sara quickly realized her passion was not in computers and technology, but more in finding opportunities to connect with people and working in an environment that focused on making a positive impact on lives. She spent 6 years serving in different roles, where the main focus of her job was making connections, building relationships, and creating a positive experience for customers.
In 2009, Sara and her husband, Scott, decided to start a family and Sara left the working world to be a stay-at-home with her babies (now 12 and 9). While being a stay at home, she discovered her creative side and developed an interest in creating (over the top) birthday parties for her children, being crafty with her kids, and creating really fun and unique memories. During this time, she also found enjoyment in volunteering in the classroom, working one day a week at a local preschool, and volunteering as a mentor for a child who was in need of some social and emotional support.
With her kids getting a bit older, Sara decided that she needed something meaningful to fill her time while her kids are away at school. Sara joined Waypoint Pediatric Therapies in late 2021 and took the role of Patient Care Representative. At Waypoint, she is able to combine her passion for connecting with individuals, by acting as a parent/caregiver support and liaison, with her love for creating memorable experiences. She strives to create a warm and welcoming environment and to help meet the needs of all who come to Waypoint!
Some of the things that bring Sara joy, outside of spending time with her friends and family, are running (especially in races) and working out, decorating, party planning, and remodeling projects with her husband. She has also recently taken up and (surprisingly) enjoys gardening, after moving to a property in Fall City and acquiring a massive garden.
