Exceptional Pediatric Care

Intensive programs can be helpful to reach a particular therapy goal. Intensives may be in a single discipline or include a combination of PT, OT, and SLP. Intensive schedules can vary and your therapist will work with you to set the frequency and duration of care necessary for success.

We have designed an outpatient protocol incorporating one or both of the CIMT (Constraint Induced Movement Therapy) and HABIT (Hand Arm Bimanual Intensive Training) interventions. Our program targets infants and young children with hemiplegia and focuses on incorporating both hands and arms in posture, mobility and play.

We offer services for infant feeding, breastfeeding, bottle feeding, transition to solids, picky eaters, sensory based feeding difficulties, oral motor skill development for feeding and more. Our feeding specialists are speech and language pathologists with additional expertise in feeding offering a variety of different therapy models from one on one to group services.

Pediatric physical therapists (PTs) apply their expertise in movement and development and focus on building the strength, power, endurance, balance and coordination needed to support play and independence in infants, children, adolescents and young adults. Our PTs see children for a wide variety of needs from developmental concerns to sports injuries to orthotic and equipment evaluations.

Pediatric speech-language pathologists (SLPs) evaluate and support children on their journey to master key communication skills including receptive and expressive language, social communication, cognitive-communication and oral skills for safe swallowing and feeding.

COMING SOON! Pediatric occupational therapists (OTs) make it easier for infants, babies, children, and young adults to perform their everyday tasks. OTs teach skills needed to play, create, learn, socialize, self-regulate emotions and behaviors, and become independent in self-care and daily routines.

Our therapists have advanced training in orthotic prescription, fit, and function. We work collaboratively with orthotics to assess orthotic needs, then design the orthotic that will best fit the needs of your child. We also have local orthotists come to the office for added convenience.

We have been assisting families in ordering specialized equipment for over 10 years. This includes wheelchairs, walkers, standers, bathing equipment, car seats, beds, and much more. We work with your medical team and an equipment vendor of your choice and arrange for a collaborative evaluation in our office.
